What We Do
Our core bodies are made of high density
polyurethane foam with durable painted latex skins. We use a large variety of high quality materials as well as different methods and applications to achieve the realistic look our props are known for. The majority of our props can be divided into three main categories: flat backs, statics, and animations.

    New Features and Improvements!
We are very proud of the quality of our props. we invest a lot of time in research and development so we can offer our clients durable, structurally sound, and safe products. After visiting a few of our clients' haunts and hearing their thoughts and requests we have decided to look into possible improvements as an answer to some shared needs. We are now pleased to announce that our several months of tests, experiments, and hard work have produced great results.

  Brand New Fire Retardant Foam

Working together with two different chemical labs, we were able to develop a new fire retardant foam that has proven to be superior to all foams we have used in the past. We are very excited and intend to use it exclusively starting March 2016. We feel that this change would not only advance the safety of our products and potentially save lives, but also alleviate some of our clients' stress involving annual fire safety inspections. Our new FR foam meets flammability standard requirements cal bulletin 117 and fmvss 302.

Most props with open eyes feature custom-painted glass eyes or hand made and painted resin eyes for extra large creatures. We understand that the eyes are the most important psychological element of our designs.

    Standard Details: Blood and Slime

After testing countless materials and chemicals, we have perfected a formula for a super glossy, flexible three-dimension slime-like coating that can be tinted any color, including blood red. This secret in-house formula is used to give our props an extra level of gory, gooey realism.
    Standard Details: Hair

Nothing completes a character design like well-done hair work. We are constantly trying to develop new hair techniques and use tools from the beauty and hairdressing industries as well as exotic industrial processes to give our creations hair. Our years of experimentation have given us many tricks to create everything from beard stubble to full body furry creatures.
One of our latest breakthroughs was perfecting the ability to make parts of our characters out of hyper-realistic silicone. This high tech material allows for realistic face/mouth movements and extra gross, 'jiggly' guts.
    Outdoor Weather Resistance

Many of you have been inquiring about our selection of outdoor weather resistant products. After testing various coatings we discovered a new high performance formula that significantly improves the strength and toughness of our paint. Check out the lovely lady in the pictures below. She stood outside our door for over 11 months demonstrating the remarkable qualities of our new finishes. Needless to say, we are now using this coating exclusively, rendering all of our props outdoor weather resistant.
We were able to find new and improved latex, formulated specifically for extra durability and longevity. We have incorporated this latex into our process and are now using it regularly. We've also been hearing that haunt patrons have developed the poor habit of ripping fingers off props as souvenirs. Since we cannot be there to guard our work (and teach some manners) we thought we might tackle this problem from a different angle. We have modified our process and developed new application methods that ensure the strongest possible latex-foam bonding.

We hope you find these new features useful and valuable as a part of your investment in Unit 70 products. Let us know what you think. We always appreciate your input.
WE MAKE 3 TYPES OF PRODUCTS
These props are made by using one part open molds. They have a fully sculpted fronts and flat backs. They are designed to lay down or hang up against a flat surfaces and are made to be viewed from one side only. They give the perfect illusion of fully realistic bodies when displayed right and are our most affordable props.

    Statics
These props are made by using two-part molds. They each have steel armatures and a steel plate, and they're designed to stand up with no additional support. Made of higher density foam, they are durable as well as flexible and are somewhat pose-able to best fit your space and scene.

    Animations
These props have steel armature bases. They rely on high quality pneumatic cylinders for their fluid movement. They include a pre-programmed electronic control board and an animation trigger. They require a medium-sized air compressor and a power outlet to operate. The recommended air pressure for our animations is 110-120 psi.
